Each kit contains one pack of 100 sheets, 8 ply, highly absorbent 3” x 3” sterile and non-adherent gauze swabs.
Triangular Bandage

Ideal for a range of first-aid applications, a good triangular bandage is an essential component. Remember your first aid training where you have to fold it as many different ways as you possibly can.
The versatility of triangular bandages ensures they have many fantastic uses, from knee and shoulder injuries to head injuries. You can make a sling or use as a shift bandage if you run out. Very cost-effective for a very high quality product.
Emergency Bandage
An amazing piece of kit that's the current issue trauma dressing for British and American Troops serving in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Designed to treat every possible bleeding wound, the bandage is sterile and non-adherent, is easily wrapped and secured, and can also act as a tourniquet in cases of severe bleeding.
The Emergency Bandage consolidates numerous treatment equipment into a single unit (Non-Adherent Pad, Pressure Applicator, Secondary Sterile Dressing and Closure Bar)
The Emergency Bandage's sterile, non-adherent pad applies pressure to any site, can be easily wrapped and secured, and has an additional application, similar to a tourniquet, to further constrict blood-flow. The product is so easy to use that even an injured person can self-apply the bandage with one hand.
Cotton Buds
Cotton buds are useful in any first aid kit but become essential for an arborist first aid kit. Whether it’s for tending a wound or removing debris from your eyes, our extra-long robust cotton buds will enable you to clean the most delicate and difficult-to-reach of areas.
Space Blanket
A space blanket, also known as a mylar blanket, emergency blanket or weather blanket, is used in emergency situations to reduce heat losses in a person's body due to thermal radiation and convection, and prevent or counter hypothermia. The blanket's ability to be packed into a small space and extremely light weight ensures that it is easy to carry everywhere and you'll only notice it when it's keeping hypthermia at bay.

Accident Book
UK Health and Safety legislation states that all accidents that happen at work must be recorded. Our Arb Aid Accident Book is designed to enable all of the critical details of any accident or incident to be recorded.
This A5-sized 25 page book is bound for durability and comes with a plan layout of the kit to help you identify product codes for easy text refills. Each page contains handy tickboxes to explain where, how and when the accident happened, making it easier to document the key information without writing an essay. There's also the option to mark each product used in treating the accident.
After filling out an accident book, each incident should be reported to Reporting Of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurances Regulations (RIDDOR).
Mirror
This is a robust and highly reflective acrylic mirror. It is best used to help removing debris from your eyes but can also be used for drawing attention to air rescue services. (See also Personal Locator Beacon)
Whiteboard
The whiteboad and black dry marker can be used for general notes and directions but is particularly useful for recording important details in case of emergency. For example, an arborist working in a remote area can record latitude and longitude co-ordinates, the nearest hospital, and emergency contact phone numbers, making it much easier to respond in a time-critical emergency. Being prepared in this way can make all the difference if the worst happens.
